Most of them I don’t remember, except that they are terrifying and make me antsy all day, but last night I had the worst one I ever had. So bad that it carried over into my waking life.

the best thing i can advise is to train yourself to control your dreams. i really do think body temperature can have a lot to do with it as well…i used to get nightmares a lot way back when, and a huge factor was heat. at some point, i was able to wake myself once my body heat began to negatively interfere with the dream.

That actually helps TREMENDOUSLY, and might be the key. I live in a basement apartment, and when the heat is on all the time, like it has been this winter, it does get extremely hot and dry down here. And thinking on it, my bad dreams have been going on mainly since it got cold outside, and warmer inside. This makes sense.
